为积极响应习近平主席在联合国生物多样性峰会上通过视频发表重要讲话，呼吁全世界携手出发，同心协力，共建万物和谐的美丽世界。云南省省委书记阮成发指出，要提高政治站位，充分认识办好COP15的重大意义，举全省之力高标准、高质量、高水平做好筹备工作，确保将COP15办成一届具有中国气派、云南特色的国际盛会。
In order to actively respond to the important video statement by H.E. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China at the United Nations Summit on Biodiversity, appealing the world that we all need to sail out from this Summit and work in concert to build a beautiful world of harmony among all beings on the planet.
In addition, Ruan Chengfa, the secretary of Yunnan provincial Party committee, also points out that we must heartily elevate our political stance, fully appreciate the great significance of successfully hosting the COP15, meticulously prepare for the event by mobilizing the whole province targeting a COP15 with high standards, exceptional quality and elevated levels, and ensure the event a grand international gathering possessed with the distinct Chinese vision and features of Yunnan.
举办好COP15，体现大国担当，事关国家形象，党中央、国务院高度重视，对COP15筹备工作提出了明确要求。在昆明举办COP15是中央交给云南省的一项重大政治任务，对展示云南省生态环境保护工作成效、推进中国最美丽省份建设、争当生态文明建设排头兵等将发挥重要作用，也是让云南走向世界、让世界了解云南的一次十分难得的机遇。各地各部门一定要站在旗帜鲜明讲政治、全面展示我国生态文明建设成就的高度，严格落实承办职责，精心做好筹备工作，并切实用好盛会平台，充分展现云南生物多样性保护、脱贫攻坚乃至经济社会发展的历史性成就，让世界感知云南、感知中国发生的翻天覆地变化。
Hosting an excellent COP15 represents not only the responsibilities of a major country but also concerns the image of China; hence the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the State Council have attached great importance to it, and specific requirements for the preparatory work were given as well. To mount COP15 in Kunming is a weighty task assigned to Yunnan by the Central Committee of the Party, which will play a substantial role in showcasing the results achieved in ecological and environmental protection in Yunnan, in promoting the building and the development of China’s most beautiful province, in breaking new ground in ecological conservation, and in seizing a rare opportunity for Yunnan to present and globalize itself to the world.
By taking up our lofty responsibilities with a clear-cut political stand, focusing on illustrating China’s achievements on ecological front in an all-round way, all local authorities and all government departments in Yunnan need to strictly implement the undertaking duties, elaborately carry out preparations and earnestly take full advantage of this platform to comprehensively unfold the historic accomplishments pertaining to Yunnan’s biodiversity protection and maintenance, the battles and deeds against poverty and even the economic and social developments. Let the world experience, sense, explore and witness Yunnan as well as the sea changes which were and are happening in China. Ruan furtherly noted.
为助力COP15即将在昆明举办，由联合国教科文组织世界青年艺术学院、北京中外视觉艺术院云南研究院、云南省美术家协会艺术交流委员会、云南省生态环境对外合作中心、自然与艺术机构联合主办的“2021自然与艺术-保护生物多样性全球艺术大赛”为在昆明举办的联合国《生物多样性公约》第十五次缔约方大会助力！此次全球艺术大赛以保护生物多样性为主题，鼓励人们通过艺术作品展现对保护生物多样性的真情和行动。此次全球公益艺术大赛由云南省美术家协会主席罗江先生担任大赛总顾问；联合国教科文组织世界青年艺术学院主任卡洛琳娜女士担任大赛组委会主任；生态环保艺术家王馨曼博士担任大赛总策划和执行主任。大赛组委会荣幸的邀请到部分云南省美术家协会主席团成员作为委员和评审专家。大赛评委主要由大赛的主办、协办单位负责人、省美协部分艺委会顾问和负责人、国内外著名艺术家和主要参赛学校代表担任。邀请到法国驻成都总领事馆最为支持单位，并由云纺博物馆、文林美术馆、彼岸艺术昆明美术馆、云南经济管理学院、安宁市太阳冲保护生物多样性大地艺术展区、意大利ITSLIQUOD等国内外单位和艺术机构的联合协办。
To facilitate the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Kunming, UNESCO World Academy for the Arts for Youth, Yunnan Academy of the Beijing Institute for Visual Arts, Art Exchange Committee of the Yunnan Artists Association, Yunnan Ecological and Environmental Cooperation Office, and Nature&Art jointly organize the 2021 Nature&Art - Glibal Art Competition to Support Global Biodiversity. The motif of this event is on biodiversity protection, encouraging participants to unveil their soul feelings and actions generated out of the mindset of biodiversity conservation through their art works.
Moreover, Mr. Luo Jiang, Chairman of Yunnan Artists Association, is the general consultant of the Global Public Welfare Art Competition for the protection of biodiversity. Ms. Karolina, director of UNESCO World Youth Academy of Arts, is the director of the organizing committee. Dr. Sophia Wang, an internationally renowned ecological and environmental artist, serves as the general planning and executive director of the competition. Members of the organizing committee of the competition are composed of presidium members of Yunnan Artists Association and responsible persons of the organizers. The judges of the competition are mainly composed of heads of the organizers and co-organizers, advisers and principals of some art committees of the Provincial Artists Association, and representatives of the main participating schools.
also enjoys the keen patronage the Consulate General of the Republic of France in Chengdu. And the co-organizers are Yunnan Museum, Wenlin Art Museum, Kunming Art Museum of The Other Shore Arts Institute, Yunnan University of Business Management, Anning Sun Chong Biodiversity Protection Earth Art Exhibition Area and ITSLIQUID.
