The Artist of“On Paper.Supreme” criticizes thestereotypical materiality of paper while exploring the possibility of visualpresentations of the material. Relative to other painting exhibitions, works onpaper are more direct, simple, they are relaxed and sensual making an immediateimpact on the viewer.
highlights artist’s paper and paper works, a peek into the artist’s direction andintrinsic spirit . In an attempt to encompass the multi-faceted spatial conceptof "paper" there is a break from the traditional concept of"paper" and its historic mission throughout the ages, here unexpectednew roles for paper are explored for a contemporary era.
With the currentprogress of science and technology, the emancipation of mankind, the diversityof paper, its universality and re- inventions of waste paper, the aplication of"paper media" has diversified to various unexpected exotic paintings,a new paper arts has arrived.
